this week on The Soul Show: Flack, McCrae, Butler, Jasper

Host/Producer Mike Canton presents an expansive, informative tribute to four groundbreaking artists who passed away in February 2025. Roberta Flack was one of the most present voices of the Seventies. Gwen McCrae had multiple hits with the Miami label TK Records, both solo and with husband George McCrae. Jerry Butler found early success with The Impressions in the Fifties, then moved on to solo success in the Sixties and beyond. Chris Jasper, a relative of the Isley Brothers, was instrumental in the group’s transformation from a vocal trio to a funk/rock powerhouse ensemble.
