The Soul Show’s fourth WHM2025 installment is “Women of Instruments,” and here are some of the featured artists I’ve captured over the years. Some listeners in faraway places may have limited opportunity to experience these players first hand. I grew up in the US Virgin Islands, so I empathize.
This website was developed with 2018 funding from The Heinz Endowments and the Pittsburgh Foundation, and I’ve continued to employ it as an adjunct to The Soul Show’s programming. Narration during episodes must be concise and, of course, I always feel like there’s much more flavor to impart to the listener. Hopefully this fills the gap in a meaningful way for you.
