Sneak Preview of the Roxian, Wolfie’s First Look, Sembéne podcast series

Roxian Theatre

The Roxian Theatre in McKees Rocks is slated for a May opening. The management team provided an early peek on 5/3, as they complete final details. The venue is adjacent to the annual Feastival space, and directly across the street from Rocks Landing. http://www.mckeesrocks.com/roxian-theatre/

In Lawrenceville, the Thunderbird’s renovations are also nearly complete, so expect some pre-opening photos in the near future.

Wolfie’s

Here’s an early look at Wolfie’s, right on the Market Square corridor. JD Chaisson, trumpeter for Steeltown Horns, presented his own trio with Heid III and Potter last night, followed by Dan Bubien and the Delta Struts. The venue plans to modify the stage-area window to allow opening to Forbes Avenue. https://www.post-gazette.com/ae/music/2019/01/16/Music-City-Downtown-looks-to-fill-the-void-for-live-music-in-the-city-Downtown-Community-Development-Corp/stories/201901160130
