Kenny Gamble and León Huff founded the label in 1971 , and brought us The O’Jays, Harold Melvin, MFSB and so many others. Dexter Wansel was part of Instant Funk, but also delivered some serious space-themed solo efforts that rivaled Bowie and Elton.
