- A decade after Hendrix performed with his older brethren , Ernie brought shredded lead guitar to The Isley Brothers. As part of the 3+3 album of 1973 and subsequent releases, the band often had a jam split into Parts 1 and 2, with the latter featuring Ernie’s blistering Strat.
