Yesterday, while waiting for a flight to ATL, I reached out to the friend/listener who first proposed “All Day Horns” as a TSS theme concept. As a follow-up, I mentioned a keyboards theme. Within a half hour, we texted out most of the lineup, including Shirley Scott, Bernie Worrell, Brian Auger, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Aretha at the Fillmore, Dumpstaphunk and so on.
