When I caught up with Fred Wesley at Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival in 2014, we talked about his recent bio. I asked about a sequel, and he chuckled. Today in an interview, over a decade later, he revealed that he has drafted it. We also talked about his P-Funk era, his appreciation for bassmaster Dwayne Dolphin, the key to his health/longevity, and more.
