Many of you have seen me photographing the Pittsburgh music scene for well over a decade. It’s always been a visual side project to complement The Soul Show. At the one-off FusionFest 2024, I presented my first effort at a representative body of work. Each try gets better. This presentation was the second, part of The Soul Show’s 30th Anniversary celebration at (The Original) Pittsburgh Winery. As you will see, the focus is on Pittsburgh artists, with some special accommodation for my New Orleans adopted band, Water Seed. Also, I included pics of the show’s late founders, Stef and Don.
Have a look. You’ll see friends who arrived, some who’ve left, venues that did the same, emerging talents, festivals, folks enjoying all of the above. There are somewhere between 1000 and 1500 images, and I’m sure I missed a few inclusions. Don’t worry…it’s a work in progress until I’m gone. Please pass this on to others!
